Low Voltage Systems Technician

Install, terminate, and certify multi-mode and single-mode fiber, along with coax, data, and power cables, while adhering to TIA and BICSI standards. Physically construct category structured cabling distribution systems, including telecommunication outlets, fire stopping, and supports, by interpreting engineered drawings and submittals. Test and troubleshoot data circuits and fiber optic cabling using specialized equipment, and perform physical labor to move equipment weighing up to 70 lbs. This role supports new and retro-fit commercial data, voice, and paging cabling installations within Telecommunications Equipment Rooms.
