Job Summary
Manage installation projects for fire life safety, video surveillance, access control, and structured cabling in commercial and multifamily buildings. Directly supervise installation teams, including project managers, installers, and foremen, while developing project plans for equipment delivery, procurement, and commissioning. Coordinate with customers, sales, and contractors to ensure on-time completion within budget, and review contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for accuracy. Resolve design challenges, obtain building permits from code officials, and optimize workflows by coordinating with other trades. Identify out-of-scope requests to manage change orders and prepare monthly billing documentation. Respond to customer inquiries on-site and communicate project status to management. Maintain accurate company documentation and adhere to a schedule of values.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Applicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record
- Must be proficient in the use and application of industry related equipment including MS Office
- Must have excellent communications skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers
- Must have at least 5 years of experience managing low voltage system projects
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
