Job Summary
Provide ongoing feedback on performance through formal and informal evaluations. Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs and coordinate daily plans for production or customer service concerns. Plan repair work using building blueprints or equipment manuals, perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Act as the primary contact for scrap situations occurring in any process step. Report to the Switchgear Supervisor, Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in preventative maintenance or related field
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Good interpersonal skills
- Mathematical aptitude
- Mechanical/technical skills
- Logical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and shift from task to task as needed
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor

Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a trade school program
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
