Job Summary
Low Voltage Project Manager responsible for overseeing complex low-voltage systems projects in Orlando, including structured cabling, security systems, audiovisual, and data networks. Lead a team of technicians, engineers, and subcontractors; develop comprehensive project plans with clients; monitor budgets, schedules, and resource allocation; ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations; manage risks and implement quality control; coordinate with suppliers and vendors; supervise testing, commissioning, and documentation; and maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders. Requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred), PMP is desired, and substantial experience (5+ years in low voltage; 7+ years in PM on large projects; leadership on multiple projects). Proficiency with PM software, strong organizational skills, willingness to travel, and ability to work overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)
- PMP (desired)
- 5+ years of Low Voltage experience
- 3+ years of leading commercial installation teams on projects valued at $500,000+
- 7+ years of Project Management experience on projects valued at $4,000,000+ (preferred)
- Experience leading multiple projects (3+) concurrently
- Strong understanding of low voltage systems and regulations
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Able to work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
