Job Summary
Summit Riser Systems, Inc. is seeking intermediate level data/voice cabling technicians with skills in installing Coax, Category 5e, and Category 6 cabling. Candidates should possess basic knowledge of equipment racks, ladder trays, grounding, EIA-TIA standards, and City Codes for low voltage cabling. A reliable vehicle, hand tools, and a 6’ ladder are required. Technicians must demonstrate customer service skills, be willing to work overtime, and have access to a computer with the ability to work with various document formats, including Excel and PDFs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be trained to install Coax, Category 5e, & Category 6 cabling
- Basic knowledge of building and setting equipment racks, ladder tray, and grounding
- Basic knowledge of EIA-TIA standards and City Codes for low voltage cabling
- Reliable vehicle required
- Must have hand tools
- Must carry a 6’ ladder and basic material
- Must have customer service skills
- Must be willing to work overtime if needed
- Must have computer access with internet, printer scanner, and able to open Excel, word documents, and PDF
- Must be presentable, reliable, and accountable
