Job Summary
Manage the Integrated Systems department by creating and maintaining the client base, generating new business, and negotiating contracts. Oversee hiring, disciplinary action, and termination of staff while ensuring adherence to all safety and training programs. Direct daily job assignments, monitor employee productivity and accuracy, and schedule and prioritize work for others. Prepare proposals and estimates, plan and monitor job costs, and ensure work orders are ready for invoicing within three days. Train, coach, and assist in developing employees while reviewing standard operating procedures and addressing workplace behaviors that raise liability risks. Interpret instructions from supervisors, complete work timely, and use office equipment for detailed data entry in work order processing systems.
Required Qualifications
- Seven to ten years of experience installing commercial construction integrated systems
- State or local licensure where required
- Experience hiring, training, disciplining, and terminating field employees
- Demonstrated knowledge of NFPA, regulatory standards, and state/local codes
- Skilled in management, inventory, budgeting, scheduling, and contract/services negotiation
- Ability to pass various background checks where required
- Reliable transportation, valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle
- Associate or bachelor's degree in business or related field
- NICET Level ll or higher
- Current certifications in Gamewell FCI & Fike Systems and IFC, BICSI, ADA, or AHJ
- Advanced knowledge of electrical wiring, NEC, and BOCA
