Job Summary
Prepare estimates for commercial security and alarm projects by evaluating bid documents and performing accurate takeoffs. Write professional proposals and interact with project managers to gather information for firm bids. Maintain current supplier pricing through direct contact and written materials to ensure cost accuracy. Evaluate bid documents, prepare bid sheets, and answer questions to support prospective job bids. Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism in all work interactions. This remote role requires occasional travel to Lowell, AR for meetings or local office visits as needed by customers.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 7+ years in field installation experience
- Must have 3+ years of continuous Estimating experience
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Experience required in Physical Security or Alarm field installation environments
- Ability to function effectively as a member of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail required
- Proficient with using smartphones and computers, including email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs
- Proven ability to follow instructions and focused attention to detail
- The position is remote with some travel to Lowell, AR for meetings or a local office as required by customers
Desired Qualifications
- Nicet Level II or Higher preferred
- Experienced AV designers/engineers would be a great fit
- Looking for motivated self-starters with field, design, or estimating background in Audio Visual
- We seek self-motivated and reliable employees who can work independently and find solutions to complete the job
- Excel Skills are a plus
