Job Summary
Wachter is seeking a Low Voltage/Fire Alarm/Security Estimator responsible for preparing estimates for commercial security/alarm projects, evaluating bid documents, performing accurate takeoffs, preparing bid sheets, and writing professional proposals. The role involves interacting with project managers to gather information for providing firm bids and maintaining updated pricing information from suppliers. Candidates should have a high school diploma and experience in Physical Security or Alarm field installation environments, along with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Experience required in Physical Security or Alarm field installation environments
- Proven ability to follow instructions and focused attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to function effectively as a member of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail required
- Proficient with using smartphones and computers, including email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs
- Excel Skills are a plus
