Job Summary
The Electronic Security Service Technician is responsible for servicing and supporting existing customers, responding to service calls, executing scheduled maintenance, and performing emergency repairs. Key responsibilities include diagnosing problems, executing repairs, maintaining compliance with safety regulations, and completing detailed service reports. Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, technical expertise with electronic security systems, and the ability to work independently. A high school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of relevant experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure
- Solid technical skills and/or experience related to fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems
- Solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems
- Must be a self-starter and work well with direct supervision
- Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Illinois PERC card
- Ability to travel locally to jobsites on a regular basis
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant field service
- CCTV experience: Milestone / Genetec
- Access Control experience: AMAG / Lenel / Genetec / Software House - CCURE / S2
- Intrusion experience: DMP / Bosch
