Job Summary
Deployment Technician responsible for installation, maintenance, and service of network and point-of-sale hardware across New York State. Roles include staging and installing equipment at customer sites, loading image files, inventory management, site visits, coordinating with helpdesk/IT, documenting issues, collecting hardware data, and ensuring onsite work meets customer specifications and industry standards. Travel regionally with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts; requires climbing ladders, driving company vehicle, and adherence to safety policies. Requires strong technical knowledge of data, voice, fiber optic, paging, security, audio/visual, and cabling systems; familiar with PC hardware, basic software, blueprints, and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A+ certification is a plus.
- Industry-specific Manufacturer Certifications and BICSI training and/or Certifications preferred but not required.
