Low Voltage / Access Control Technician

Job Summary
Review project quotes and scopes, then inspect installation sites while studying work orders, architectural plans, and comprehensive installation methods. Install low voltage cabling, devices, and systems adhering to precise specifications, relevant codes, and industry practices. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with installed systems, conduct routine maintenance and inspections, and respond promptly to service calls and customer inquiries. Provide fundamental customer training on system operations and maintain customer satisfaction. Travel extensively across the Midwest, often requiring weekend work for multiple sites.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on/field experience from previous work experience
- Possesses and maintains a working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations and IP addressing
- Ability to read architectural drawings
- Team management/supervisor experience
- Previous experience completing projects within scope
- Previous experience with service ticketing processes
- Any previous knowledge in fire, CCTV, intrusion, emergency nurse call systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have valid US Driver's license
- Travel extensively across mostly within the Midwest and on occasion weekends that are necessary for multiple sites
- Home most weekends
