Job Summary
Low Latency Java Programmer needed to design and develop a globally connected Client Connectivity platform. Responsibilities include end-to-end delivery of prioritized connectivity streams, building ultra-low latency Java-based solutions, adhering to coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards, and collaborating with internal/external teams (QA, infrastructure, production support). The role involves troubleshooting across development, support, and technical business users, establishing strong cross-functional relationships, providing post-implementation support, and working within a global development team to leverage shared tools and technologies. Key skills include Java, FIX/Binary protocols, binary protocol handling, Unix/Linux, microservices, electronic trading concepts, and familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, Bitbucket).
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Low latency Java Stack
- Knowledge and experience in building ultra-low latency platforms
- Working experience of Microservices architecture is a big plus
- Good exposure to Client connectivity application development
- Good understanding of electronic trading and financial markets
- Experience on FIX/Binary protocols
- Exposure to Open HFT & Chronicle is a big Plus
- Experience of working in a trading environment
- Familiar with DevOps tools, CI/CD, and BitBucket
- Core Java
- Unix/Linux
