C++ Software Engineer to develop ultra-low latency, high-throughput trading systems. You will work directly with traders, researchers, and developers to take projects from conception to deployment, driving frameworks and benchmarking/tuning for optimum latency. Role emphasizes advanced C/C++ systems development in a Linux environment, performance optimization, low-level understanding of hardware and OS internals, and familiarity with x86 assembly.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency with C/C++ systems development in a Linux environment
- Performance tuning and optimization of low latency software
- Demonstrable success building high performance software
- Experience building latency sensitive systems with a strong understanding of low-level systems and network development
- Strong understanding of hardware stack and hardware architecture from a latency perspective
- Strong understanding of network protocols
- Experience writing assembly code desirable
- Advanced knowledge of operating system internals and Linux kernel
- Interest in x86 Assembly
