Job Summary
Paraprofessional (Low Incidence) at Edgebrook Elementary School. Requires a current and valid Paraprofessional License and either 60 college credits or completion of the ISBE pathway for obtaining the license. CPI training preferred or willing to train. Responsibilities include promoting a safe environment per protocol, working as a cooperative team member with students, teachers, parents, and administration, and supporting young children with special needs. Full-time, 175-day position with benefits; starting wage $17.50/hour with potential credit for prior relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current and Valid Paraprofessional License
- 60 college credit hour or Work Keys Test/other ISBE requirement for obtaining Paraprofessional License
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
