Job Summary

Oversee beverage operations across bars, restaurants, and pool areas, ensuring smooth functioning and alignment with high standards. Manage beverage inventory, order supplies, and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure product availability while minimizing waste. Interview, hire, train, and assign work to a team of beverage staff, preparing schedules and coaching employees on responsible alcohol service and appearance guidelines. Complete daily financial reports, reconcile shift paperwork, and ensure all service equipment is maintained safely. Solicit guest feedback, resolve complaints, and enforce standardized recipes and temperature logs. Maintain a clean, organized environment compliant with Indian Health Services regulations and handle incidents involving patrons or staff. Submit product requisitions and oversee transfers to other locations.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent
  • Two (2) years supervisory experience in a bar/lounge with a full liquor license
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must obtain and maintain a New Mexico Alcohol Server's License prior to hire date
  • Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation
  • Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening
  • Knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as trends and industry best practices
  • Knowledge of local and state liquor laws
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • Experience with Point-Of-Sale programs
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Ability to supervise associates
  • Effectively and professionally handle guest conflict situations
  • Detail oriented with strong customer service focus
  • Maintains the highest standard of personal hygiene
  • Must be available to work required schedule which may include days, nights, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and overtime as needed
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of college
  • Six (6) months food or restaurant experience
