Job Summary
Lounge Server role in Fieldstone community: provide prompt, friendly service in the Sky Lounge, oversee lounge operations, prep and serve food and beverages, maintain cleanliness and inventory, follow sanitation standards, and deliver a respectful, home-like experience to residents and guests. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, ability to work a flexible schedule (including weekends/holidays), CPR/First Aid, and passing a background check; prior dining/lounge service and kitchen experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in dining room/lounge service and food prep preferred
- Prefer prior experience in a commercial kitchen environment
- Requires attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
- Has compassion and a special interest in working with the senior population
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other community staff
- Ability to creatively problem-solve in both resident care and employee management
- Maintains clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for residents, staff and visitors
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Pass a criminal background and fingerprint check
- Meets all mandatory health requirements by state regulations
- Ability to work independently
- Maintains current Food Handlers card
