Job Summary
Greet guests, take orders for food and beverage, and utilize suggestive techniques to enhance sales. Prepare and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and light meals while maintaining stock, supplies, and outlet cleanliness. Monitor tables, service areas, and the outlet for sanitation and organization. Input orders into the point-of-sale system, present checks, process payments, and adhere to cash handling policies. Collect and report tips, complete closing reports, and document maintenance needs on work orders. Abide by state liquor regulations and OSHA chemical safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): or Work Equivalent.
- Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Must have good understanding of the English language.
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and beverage service standards.
- Certification of previous training in liquor, wine, and food service.
- Certification in an alcohol awareness program.
- Certification in CPR.
- Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers/point of sales system.
- Previous guest/customer relations training.
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year experience as a Server or Barback preferred but not required.
