Job Summary
Take orders, prepare, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and light meals to guests courteously and efficiently. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas, tables, and service outlets. Greet guests, utilize suggestive selling techniques, input orders into the point-of-sale system, and present checks while processing payments in adherence to cash handling policies. Collect and report tips at the end of the shift, complete closing reports, and document maintenance needs on work orders. Legibly record maintenance requests and submit to the manager.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): or Work Equivalent
- Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Must have good understanding of the English language
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and beverage service standards
- Certification of previous training in liquor, wine, and food service
- Certification in an alcohol awareness program
- Certification in CPR
- Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers/point of sales system
- Previous guest/customer relations training
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year experience as a Server or Barback preferred but not required
