Job Summary
Lounge Bartender at the 34° North Restaurant inside the Beaufort Hotel in Beaufort, NC, providing beverage service to hotel guests and local visitors. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and service standards; accept and complete drink orders from guests and servers; maintain bar cleanliness and organization; perform opening and closing duties including stocking and securing bar areas; follow cash handling, check handling, and credit card procedures; ensure compliant alcohol service with laws and policies; monitor inventory and replenish beer, liquor, mixers, juices, and bar supplies; replenish ice stations and glassware; maintain a friendly, professional, and team-oriented atmosphere; communicate effectively with restaurant staff and management to support smooth operations. Qualifications include prior bartending experience, knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and liquor service, strong guest service and communication skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, dependable attendance, willingness to work nights/weekends/holidays, and knowledge of responsible alcohol service.
