Job Summary
The Lounge Bartender is responsible for creating an outstanding guest experience by expertly mixing and serving a variety of beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining an engaging atmosphere. Key responsibilities include beverage preparation, menu knowledge, customer interaction, bar setup and maintenance, cash handling, entertainment engagement, inventory management, and compliance with alcohol regulations. Ideal candidates should possess mixology skills, a strong service orientation, and the ability to work under pressure. Physical stamina is needed due to the demands of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bartender or in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage presentation
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and active listening skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
