Job Summary
The Lounge Bartender is responsible for expertly preparing and serving a variety of beverages, engaging with guests, and enhancing the atmosphere at the bar. Key responsibilities include beverage preparation, maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the drink menu, ensuring a high level of customer interaction, and managing cash transactions. Bartenders are expected to uphold cleaning standards, assist with inventory management and compliance with alcohol-related laws. Ideal candidates should possess strong mixology knowledge, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bartender or in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage presentation.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and active listening skills.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations.
