Job Summary
Transport, install, and maintain Brightstar equipment, replacement parts, tools, and supplies at retailer locations in Tallahassee, FL. Troubleshoot malfunctioning gear by swapping failed units, cleaning components, and making minor adjustments to restore operation. Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts like paper and ribbons while tracking inventory, and provide basic or remedial training to new retailers. Communicate daily activity, arrival/departure times, and failure resolutions to Dispatchers. Complete primary forms for reporting activities and equipment issues. Requires a valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in close quarters or inclement weather.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or GED equivalent
- 1 or more years of experience in a customer service-related position
- 1 or more years of experience in technical repairs
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Ability to perceive colors correctly
- Ability to climb a ladder
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds for a significant distance
- Ability to sit and drive for prolonged periods of time
- Dexterity when working with tools
- Ability to work with moving parts and electrical current
- Ability to work at heights (rooftop) for installation of equipment
- Ability to work in close quarters
- Ability to be exposed to inclement weather during some installations
- Must be able to climb a ladder
- Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds for a significant distance
- Must be able to sit and drive for prolonged periods of time
