Job Summary
Field Services Technician responsible for transporting, installing, and maintaining Brightstar equipment at retailer locations across Dayton, Union, Somerset, and Middlesex County, NJ. Duties include regular fieldwork and driving, customer support, delivering equipment and consumables, basic retailer training, inventory tracking, completing reports, and troubleshooting malfunctioning equipment in the field. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of customer service experience, 1+ year of technical repair experience, and a valid driver’s license. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, prolonged driving, working with tools and electrical components, and potential work at heights or in inclement weather.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or GED equivalent required
- 1 or more years of experience in a customer service-related position
- 1 or more years of experience in technical repairs
- Must possess a valid driver's license, have a good driving record, and demonstrate the ability to perceive colors correctly
- Physical Requirements: able to climb a ladder, lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds for significant distances, sit and drive for prolonged periods, dexterity with tools, work with moving parts and electrical current, may work at heights and in inclement weather
