Job Summary
Count in and balance the cash drawer while processing and redeeming California Lottery tickets. Ensure responsive, friendly, and courteous service to all guests to meet company objectives. Maintain excellent organizational abilities and accurate math skills to handle cash, calculate totals, and account for coins. Stand for extended periods in a fast-paced, small office environment while performing these essential duties.
Required Qualifications
- Previous cash handling experience
- Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English language
- Excellent math skills
- ability to calculate money accurately
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time (Up to 8 hours)
- Reaching, bending, stretching, lifting up to 25lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a small, confined, office-type room
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to handle cash, calculate accurately, analyze and account for cash and coin
- Excellent customer service skills
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
