Job Summary
Organize and maintain the placement of vehicles within the designated zone or move area to the defined standard established by lot operations leadership. Use daily information from the Supervisor and Lot Ops dashboards to make move decisions and stage their assigned zone. Drive continuous improvement in safety and the efficient movement of vehicles in and out of the zone, ensuring safe staging and proper work destinations. Label vehicles with sale and routing labels to maintain accurate movements, communicate status to crew leaders and managers, and prioritize inventory needs. Uphold Cox/Manheim values, enforce policies, and model safe behaviors; may work overtime as needed. This role requires heavy physical activity, standing for long periods, and the ability to lift up to 15 pounds, in an outdoor, moderate-noise work environment; drug testing is required; benefits and equal employment opportunity statements apply.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift 1-15 pounds
- Pre-employment drug test
- US work authorization (no OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future)
