Job Summary
Operate motor vehicles on the premises to transport and stage units in designated areas under leadership direction. Move vehicles from the finish line to parking spots using alphanumeric ordering, scan parked vehicles in the Internal Tracking system for inventory accuracy, and jump-start vehicles using a battery box as required. Maintain safe work areas, practice conservative driving habits, and promptly notify managers of driving-related incidents or hazards while following company procedures for accidents and compliance with state or federal laws. Work approximately 3 days a week (20-24 hours) at an ADESA auto auction site supporting repair, reconditioning, and auction remarketing operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license that meets the requirements
- Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes
- Proficiency with computer systems and applications
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Desired Qualifications
- Automotive or auction experience
