Job Summary
Lot Driver position at ADESA Charlotte handling vehicle transport, pickup and delivery to support car auctions. Responsibilities include driving vehicles to designated areas, verifying VINs, lining up and parking vehicles, observing auction rules and road rules, and assisting dealers, account reps, and coworkers. Requires a valid driver’s license, clean background, ability to work outdoors in various weather, basic computer skills, and effective communication in English. Schedule typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00/5:30 PM, with on-site driving in auction lanes and potential vehicle-related tasks (inflating tires, jump-starts, fueling) as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work outdoors under any type of weather conditions
- Adequate reading and comprehension in English
- Clear background and driving record
- Ability to read and understand transportation requests and VIN checks
