Job Summary
Coordinate vehicle movement on the lot and through the sales lane, conducting presale walks to ensure cars are in assigned lanes and directing traffic for continuous flow. Inspect support equipment for proper working order, identify missing or inoperable vehicles, and maintain the run list for issues like missing keys or late entries. Respond to customer and dealer inquiries, oversee parking of sold and non-sold vehicles, and report theft, damage, or safety concerns to management. Requires driving ability, basic mechanical knowledge, and data entry skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Working knowledge of vehicles
- Data entry
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
- Basic mechanical knowledge of identifying (i.e., flat tires, low gas, jump-starting vehicles.)
- Safety conscious, with a focus on customer service
- Pride in their work and reputation of themselves and DAA
- Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
- Team focused attitude that will contribute to a positive work environment
- Aware of health, safety and security issues
- Regular and substantial contact with others
- Moderate interpersonal and communication skills to ensure that customer requests or needs are met
