Job Summary
Conduct daily lot operations by driving service trucks, tow trucks, and forklifts to stage vehicles for sale and maintain accurate inventory flow. Scan the property using electronic devices to record vehicle movements, handle personal property removal, and verify vehicle status including mileage and VIN. Assist with vehicle readiness tasks such as adding fluids, air, and jump starts while ensuring safe work areas and reporting hazards. Coordinate with shop and administrative teams to execute efficient sale day activities and provide customer service support. This role requires a valid driver's license, forklift certification, and ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment from Friday to Monday.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license that meets the requirements
- Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes, including tow trucks, forklifts, and the service truck
- Obtain and maintain forklift certification
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must be able to perform Light to Medium Physical Work
- Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception, and field of vision comparable to definitions for Clerical, Administrative, and Machine Operators (including inspection) positions
- Must be able to pass a complete background check
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Automotive or auction experience preferred
- Proficiency with computer systems and applications
