Job Summary
Loss Prevention Team Lead oversees shrink mitigation, leads investigations, and trains team members to protect assets and ensure store safety. Responsibilities include detecting and apprehending shoplifters, monitoring cash variances, coordinating with Inventory Control to reduce shrink, conducting investigations, maintaining security systems (locking, CCTV, alarms), supervising LP team members, overseeing high-risk product tagging, and ensuring overall safety of premises, employees, and customers. Requires leading and motivating a diverse team, flexibility in scheduling, and at least basic LP experience; high school diploma or GED preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1 year of retail loss prevention or supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required
- Must be able to direct and motivate a diverse population that includes full-time and part-time team members
