Job Summary
Loss Prevention & Safety Specialist responsible for investigating incidents, monitoring CCTV across all lines of business, conducting safety inspections for compliance with safety rules, ensuring monthly emergency drills, resolving support tickets, and providing training/inspection support to safety captains. The role supports the business unit with administrative duties, requires flexibility to work a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays, and emphasizes customer service. Candidates should have 3+ years of LP/Safety experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, and preferably an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Health & Safety, or related fields. Proficiency with CCTV technology, facility access control, fire detection, emergency systems, and MS Office is required; a valid driver’s license is needed for travel as applicable. Additional qualifications include strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple business units.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalency diploma
- 3+ years’ experience in a Loss Prevention & Safety Specialist role
- Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Health & Safety, or related fields preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced skills with facility access, fire detection, emergency and CCTV technology, and MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel)
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance if driving; ability to travel as needed
