Job Summary
Conduct undercover surveillance to detect and apprehend shoplifters, recover assets, and make safe apprehensions while maintaining strict compliance with laws and company policies regarding search and seizure. Prepare incident reports for theft incidents and merchandise recoveries, and testify in court concerning criminal or civil cases as required. Complete and maintain state guard certification, ensuring all documentation and fees are handled per employee responsibility. Work flexible shifts Monday through Sunday, including overtime when needed, to support retail operations and ensure a safe environment for clients, associates, and customers.
Required Qualifications
- Two plus years loss prevention experience
- Proficient in PC and iOS hardware and software
- General operating knowledge of retail security camera equipment and CCTV
- Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client requested certification
- Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm with the ability to deliver high level of customer service
- Have flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and willingness to assist the team with overtime when needed
