Job Summary
Identify theft, mischief, and fraud by discreetly observing shoplifters and approaching situations with a customer-first mindset. Conduct security audits of buildings and assets while maintaining a professional demeanor when dealing with the public, staff, and law enforcement agencies. Perform arrests, ask-to-pays, and product recoveries, then document all evidence and type clear, concise reports as required. You must hold a valid BC Security Worker's Licence with Security Guard endorsement and possess reliable transportation to travel between various store locations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid BC Security Worker's Licence with Security Guard endorsement
- Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between various store locations
- Solid decision-making skills with the ability to make quick decisions under difficult circumstances
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to work well with minimal supervision
- Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile
Desired Qualifications
- Valid Advanced Security Training/AST
