Loss Prevention Officer

Job Summary
Patrol property and assist guests with room access; monitor CCTV and alarm systems; lock entrances when required; conduct hazard inspections; respond to accidents and emergencies, administer first aid/CPR as needed, contact EMS, and defuse disturbances. Prepare incident reports documenting security/loss prevention incidents; escort unwelcome individuals; report to scenes of accidents/thefts and call for outside assistance using proper code responses. Maintain confidentiality of security reports; comply with company policies; provide excellent guest service and assist individuals with disabilities; review written documents for accuracy; develop positive working relationships; meet QA standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; move and lift objects (up to 75 pounds with assistance); navigate stairs and uneven surfaces; perform other reasonable duties as requested. Education preferred: high school diploma or GED; no related work experience required; no supervisory experience. This posting reflects a real Marriott International role located in Washington, DC.
