Job Summary
Loss Prevention Manager oversees security operations on a daily basis, assists in developing and implementing emergency procedures, deploys and leads security staff to protect property assets, and conducts investigations into losses. Responsible for maintaining logs, certifications, and required documentation; conducts patrols of the property; handles guest problems and disputes; identifies hazards and risks; coordinates with local law enforcement; ensures safety and guest/employee protection, and provides guidance through training and coaching to enhance security performance. The role emphasizes leadership, safety compliance, customer service in a hotel environment, and collaboration with Human Resources and event teams.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in the security/loss prevention or related professional area.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Criminal Justice or related major; 1 year experience in the security/loss prevention or related professional area.
