Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day security operations for a Hilton property in Indianapolis, lead loss prevention programs to prevent theft, fraud, and vandalism, investigate incidents in collaboration with local law enforcement, monitor CCTV and security systems, develop risk-reduction strategies, train staff on loss prevention practices and emergency protocols, ensure guest and staff safety, and prepare regular security reports. Responsibilities include risk assessments and audits, emergency response coordination, managing the Master key program, leading the safety committee, participating in the Manager on Duty program, and maintaining compliance with laws and company policies; requires strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in loss prevention, security management, or a related field
- Knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and investigative skills
- Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic understanding of legal principles related to loss prevention and security in the hospitality industry
- Certification in security or law enforcement (e.g., Certified Protection Professional) is a plus
