Loss Prevention Detective

Conduct daily loss prevention and safety tasks, including observing, apprehending, and deterring dishonesty from outside sources. Maintain positive relationships with store management while communicating with associates on damage and shrink initiatives. Identify and resolve internal and external theft by adhering to established shoplifter guidelines and policies. Participate in investigations and surveillance as assigned, ensuring apprehensions are consistent with store theft activity. Complete and distribute paperwork accurately and timely, maintaining appropriate evidence and demonstrating understanding of law enforcement procedures. Coordinate shrink reduction activities in partnership with management and encourage associate use of shrink reduction resources. Promote safety awareness and support maintenance of a safe environment while adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
