Loss Prevention Detective

Conduct daily store loss prevention and safety programs, including apprehending individuals within established policies, deterring dishonesty from outside sources, and investigating theft activities. Communicate with store associates regarding damage and shrink initiatives while maintaining positive relationships with store management. Coordinate shrink reduction activities, complete necessary paperwork and evidence distribution, and participate in surveillance as assigned. Adhere to all labor laws, shoplifter guidelines, and legal procedures during police calls or legal activities. Maintain confidentiality, promote a culture of honesty, and ensure a safe environment for all. Requires excellent communication, investigative skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. Starting pay is $16.25 to $20.40 per hour.
