Job Summary
Conduct visual deterrent patrols at the store front and maintain a professional stance to prevent potential loss. Wear a body-worn camera and respond to customer requests by referring them to management or customer service via radio. Observe and report any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to loss prevention or store management. Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management and document required incidents in AIIM Case Management. Review the Store Emergency Response Guide and adhere to all company policies. Greet customers appropriately while demonstrating courtesy and respect.
Required Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Sound decision making skills
- Ability to take initiative and perform well independently
- Prioritizes/organizes workload and manages time effectively
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- 0-2 years retail or security experience
- Must be able to wear a complete Company approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera
- Must be able to wear a body worn camera
- Must be able to adhere to all Company Policy and Procedure
- Must be able to document required incidents in AIIM Case Management
- Must be able to respond to customer requests for assistance by referring customers to store management or customer service via a Company issued radio
- Must be able to observe and report any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to LP or store management
- Must be able to perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management
- Must be able to establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department
- Must be able to greet customers appropriately, demonstrate courtesy and respect
- Must be able to act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty
- Must be able to review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide
- Must be able to exercise sound judgment in decision-making to ensure their safety, the safety of others, and the protection of the Company brand
- Must be able to maintain a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store
- Must be able to support a positive customer shopping experience in the store
- Must be able to maintain a strong store partnership with store teams and loss prevention
