Job Summary
Support the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management by acting as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty while wearing a body-worn camera. Maintain a professional stance at the front of the store or in a designated department, greet customers with courtesy, and respond to assistance requests by referring them to store management. Observe and report suspicious behavior or critical incidents, perform a closing safety sweep with management, and document required incidents in AIIM Case Management. Adhere to the Store Emergency Response Guide and Company policies. This role requires sound decision-making, strong communication, and the ability to stand for long periods. Starting pay is $17.13 to $18.60 per hour.
Required Qualifications

- Able to stand for long periods of time
- 0-2 years retail or security experience
- Must be able to wear a complete Company approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera
- Must be able to wear a body worn camera
- Must be able to adhere to all Company Policy and Procedure
- Must be able to document required incidents in AIIM Case Management
- Must be able to respond to customer requests for assistance by referring customers to store management or customer service via a Company issued radio
- Must be able to observe and report any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to LP or store management
- Must be able to perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management
- Must be able to establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department
- Must be able to greet customers appropriately, demonstrate courtesy and respect
- Must be able to act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty
- Must be able to review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide
- Must be able to exercise sound judgment in decision-making to ensure their safety, the safety of others, and the protection of the Company brand
- Must be able to maintain a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store
- Must be able to support a positive customer shopping experience in the store
- Must be able to maintain a strong store partnership with store teams and loss prevention
