Job Summary
Conduct thorough analysis of loss mitigation applications to determine compliance with Treasury, Company, and Investor guidelines. Perform Verification of Income, calculate debt-to-income ratios, and verify occupancy, hardship, and income details. Apply payment waterfalls to assess workout eligibility and identify borrower liquid assets. Document final decisions, update systems of record, and communicate required conditions such as default letters or updated pay stubs. Handle moderately complex files while adhering to all US state and federal laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) to three (3) years of underwriting/loss mitigation experience
