Job Summary
Loss Drafts Specialist responsible for monitoring repairs to mortgaged properties following natural disasters and other structural impacts within the servicing portfolio. Manages communications with clients, insurance carriers, and contractors to ensure expeditious, compliant repairs and returns the property to a suitable condition while remaining aligned with investor guidelines. Maintains effective status updates on insurance coverage, repair progress, and next steps; performs data entry and validation at notification of impact; issues accurate draw schedules and repair guidelines; stays current on investor guidelines; collaborates with internal and external partners to manage expectations and drive resolutions. There is a five-day in-office expectation.
Required Qualifications
- College degree or comparable education and experience
- One to two years of mortgage, banking, banking operations, or comparable education
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite to include Word and Excel
