Job Summary
Loss Control Specialist responsible for hazard assessments, on-site safety surveys, and developing client health and safety programs within a defined region. Role includes evaluating risk exposures for underwriting, recommending controls, coordinating with claims and risk-management teams, and delivering safety training. Requires regular domestic travel, on-site client visits, strong written and verbal communication, data interpretation, OSHA regulatory knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Travel-intensive, with emphasis on field assessments and collaboration with clients to implement safety improvements.
Required Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent combination of experience, skills, education (including other relevant non-traditional degree programs, certifications, or job training programs) preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in safety and health.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and demonstrated ability to learn other applications as needed.
- This role requires a valid, non-restrictive driver’s license as it involves regular travel to client sites and company locations.
