Job Summary
Review delinquent account statuses and initiate collection actions via phone, correspondence, and credit union software. Skip-trace accounts, negotiate repayment, and manage repossession, foreclosure, and charge-off recommendations to management. Maintain accurate records and ensure call quality while adhering to state, federal, and NCUA regulations. Work on-site at the Rock Hill, SC back office operations center on a rotating 4-day week with one monthly Saturday shift. Required Qualifications
- High school education
- Self-motivated
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to work on-site at our back office operations center in Rock Hill, SC
- Remote work is not available
- Must have good working knowledge of credit union collection policies and procedures
- Knowledge of state and federal laws governing collection practices
- Knowledge of NCUA rules and regulations
- Compliance with applicable statutes and regulations including BSA and the FDCPA business module
- Ability to maintain acceptable call quality as determined by the Management staff
- A pre-employment drug screening, background screening, reference check and credit check will be required
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service, call center or collections experience
- Previous collection experience
