Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive property inspections to document physical characteristics, exterior measurements, hazards, and conditions for loss control reports. Capture photographs and unusual risks to assist underwriters in determining carrier eligibility. Organize independent work schedules to accommodate client needs while managing an aggressive workload with limited guidance. Submit resumes and cover letters upon meeting qualifications, including technical requirements for a Windows PC, digital camera, and transportation. Candidates must be self-disciplined, analytical, and capable of prioritizing inspections efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Be an energetic individual capable of completing a high volume of insurance inspections
- Be motivated, analytical, resourceful, decisive, and have good problem-solving skills
- Have solid written, composition and verbal communication skills
- Have a strong desire to succeed and work independently with limited direction & guidance
- Be self-disciplined, organized and able to manage an aggressive workload and have the ability to prioritize and schedule inspections timely and efficiently
- Reliable, insured transportation and valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- VIITA Certification
- previous experience in construction/plumbing/electrical industries, life safety/fire fighting, general contracting or property management
