Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive physical inspections of commercial and residential properties, documenting exterior measurements, general conditions, hazards, and unusual risks through photographs and reports. Synthesize observable data to determine property eligibility for insurance carrier requirements while operating independently with limited direction. Organize self-set work schedules to accommodate client needs, managing an aggressive workload by prioritizing inspections timely and efficiently. Utilize a Windows PC, digital camera, measuring wheel, and clipboard to gather field data. Candidates must possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously. Submit a resume and cover letter for immediate consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Be an energetic individual capable of completing a high volume of insurance inspections
- Be motivated, analytical, resourceful, decisive, and have good problem-solving skills
- Have solid written, composition and verbal communication skills
- Have a strong desire to succeed and work independently with limited direction & guidance
- Be self-disciplined, organized and able to manage an aggressive workload and have the ability to prioritize and schedule inspections timely and efficiently
- Reliable, insured transportation and valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- VIITA Certification
- previous experience in construction/plumbing/electrical industries, life safety/fire fighting, general contracting or property management
