Job Summary
Loss Control Associate delivering safety services and loss prevention support for Mountain West Insurance clients across Property, General Liability, and Workers’ Compensation. Responsibilities include safety surveys, risk and loss analysis, training assistance, OSHA-related activities, and facilitating client relationships with producers, account executives/managers, and claims staff. Requires ongoing professional development (ASP or CSP) and proficient use of the EPIC system to meet agency standards and enhance client retention. May involve occasional travel to client sites.
Required Qualifications
- Prior insurance and/or Loss Control experience preferred
- ASP (Associate Safety Professional) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) designation or commit to obtaining within first year of employment
- Proficient in using a personal computer, calculator, agency automation systems, and various application/software programs (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Epic)
