Job Summary
Lead the Los Angeles office as a senior director, overseeing project delivery and a diverse team of planners, engineers, and landscape architects. Drive strategic growth by pursuing and winning work, mentoring staff, building an inclusive culture, and serving as a key liaison with leadership and external partners to deliver equity-centered, multimodal transportation projects across the region.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Planning, Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or a very strong technical understanding of the Architecture and Engineering industry
- Minimum of 12 years of experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a consulting firm or similar
- Recent experience in and active relationships with Los Angeles-area public sector agencies
- Experience managing staff
- Experience pursuing and winning work that is competitively bid
- Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and entrepreneurial skills
- Ability to deliver high-quality, on-time, on-budget work with strong analytical judgment
