Job Summary
Two-year HIV clinical fellowship for physicians to train in comprehensive HIV primary and sub-specialty care, HIV prevention, and related fields (including Viral Hepatitis, Addiction Medicine, LGBTQ+ healthcare, Gender-affirming Care, Correctional Health, Street Medicine) with emphasis on scholarship and academic teaching. Training spans multiple sites (Los Angeles General Medical Center, Rand Schrader Clinic, Inpatient Infectious Disease Consult Service, Emergency Dept Consult Service, MLK Oasis Clinic, Hubert H. Humphrey Comprehensive Health Center, Los Angeles County Jail, USC Street Medicine, APLA Health, UCLA National Clinical Scholars) and covers HIV primary care, sub-specialty care, and related competencies. Compensation ranges from $84,123 to $90,019 annually plus a $10,000 housing bonus. Location-based sites include Montebello, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Physician with MD/DO degree or equivalent
- Completed medical degree and licensure to practice medicine
- Two-year postdoctoral fellowship in HIV care or equivalent training focus
- Commitment to comprehensive HIV care and prevention, including work with vulnerable communities
- Interest in healthcare systems, research, policy, medical education, and patient advocacy
