Job Summary
Join the Los Angeles Angels as a Seasonal Event Sweeper responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety during events at Angel Stadium. Duties include checking and cleaning seating areas, restrooms, and concourses, responding to cleaning requests, and assisting with setup and breakdown of events. Successful candidates must effectively communicate, work well under pressure, and possess a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Available to work starting approximately 3 hours prior to start of events
- Ability to work mostly evenings including weekends, nights and holidays
- Ability to continuously stand and walk
- Ability to occasionally sit, kneel, crawl, and squat
- Ability to frequently climb stairs and ramps, bend and grasp using hands
- Ability to work in inclement weather
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and operation of cleaning equipment preferred
- Effective communication skills (verbal)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment around large groups
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with other employees and supervisors
